She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Josephine Swetland and William Bryant Wilson; her siblings, Laura Elizabeth "Bettye" Wilson, Sherra Sue Wilson Halcisak, Rebecca Eileen Wilson Yost, James "Jimmy" Ray Wilson and Donald "Donnie" George Wilson; and the father of her children Ronny Dewayne Bell.

She is survived by: her children, Sherra Melissa Bell of Atlanta and Michael Dwayne Bell (Kayle) of Marietta; and her brothers, Earle Bryant Wilson of Lawrenceville, Norris Franklin Wilson of Covington and Wallace Byron "Buddy" Wilson of Murphy, NC. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; one great-grandson, and a large extended family.

Visitation was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lovejoy United Methodist Church (12835 GA-36, Covington, GA 30014). A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Lovejoy United Methodist Church Cemetery (12835 GA-36, Covington, GA 30014). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at the Lovejoy United Methodist Church (12835 GA-36, Covington, GA 30014).
