She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Jim" G. Bamberg and Blanche Jones Bamberg; her daughter Doris Ann Dillehay Curtis; and her siblings, Mary Lillian Bamberg Kinney, Harold Bamberg, William E. "Gene" Bamberg and Arlin Basil Gibson.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen M. Simmons of Powder Springs, GA; her grandchildren, Karla M. Curtis of Atlanta, GA and Jay Curtis (Christie); her great grandchild Brennan; her sisters, Julia Ann Summerall (Saul) of Charlotte, NC and Catherine Howard of High Springs, FL; and her cousins, Al Curtis (Trish) of Peachtree City, GA and Nell Johnson of Winona, MS. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
