With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eric Stephen Coats (Marietta, Georgia), born in Miami, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 1, 2025 at the age of 56. He was predeceased by: his nephew Michael Schneider. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his sons, Tommy and Jackson; his parents, Tom Coats and Jeannie Coats of Miami, Florida; his sister Heather Schneider (Brian) of Norwalk, Connecticut; his sister-in-law Margaret Krieger (Dan) of Kennesaw, Georgia.; and his nieces and nephews, John, Ryan, Lachlan Schneider, Mary and Matthew Krieger.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you have your friends over, cook your friends a meal, hug your loved ones and cheer for the Dawgs if you are so inclined.
