He was predeceased by: his father Luis Perez. He is survived by: his wife Ana Guardado; his children, Abel Guardado (Kimberley), Hugo Guardado and Lorena Sanchez; and his grandchildren, Steve Sanchez, Jareth Guardado, Mia Rodriguez and Amy Rodriquez. He is also survived by 11 siblings.
