With solemn reverence, we commemorate James Justin Mercure of Marietta, Georgia, whose life came to an end on June 20, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Hubert and Mary Joan Mercure; and his brother Christopher Sr.. He is survived by: his former wife Janie Weaver Mercure; his children, Joseph Justin Mercure (Lauren) and Mary Elizabeth Mercure-Williams (Joseph); his grandsons, Jeremiah Pippin and John Jacob Mercure; and his siblings, Ronald Jr. (Diane), Michael (Judy), Peter (Suzanne), Ilona Todd (Larry), Mary Veronica and John (Beth). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home (180 Church St, Marietta, GA 30060). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:55 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Foundation Fighting Blindness.
