She was predeceased by: her husband John Thomas Smith; her children, Carol and Riley; her parents, Mattie Haywood and Jim Haywood; and her siblings, Marie Todd, Mable Haywood, Joyce Sammons Knox, Jack and Allen Haywood.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra (Jack); her grandchildren, Andrew Powell (Sue), Alex Smith (Kathryn) and Erin Parker (Mike); her great grandchildren, John Powell, Baxter Parker and Lyla Parker; her great great grandchildren, Easton, Levi Powell and Jolene Powell; and her children-in-law, Chuck Shirley and Joan Smith. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
