She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucye Lovett Eitel Slappey and AllanBeverly Hazzard Eitel; her husband John Mercer Berry, Jr.; her son Charles M. Berry (Chuck); her siblings, Beverly Eitel Kennedy, Allan B. H. Eitel Jr. and Allan B. H. Eitel III; and her sister-in-law Daphne Moore Eitel.
She is survived by: her children, Russell A. Berry of Atlanta and Beth Berry McClendon (Steve) of Cleveland; her daughter-in-law Maryellen Berry of Mableton; her sister Julia Sergi (Jim) of Waleska; her sister-in-law Gloria Eitel of Savannah; her grandchildren, Aaron McClendon (Madison), Joseph McClendon (Hannah), Abigail Wright (Cyrus), Mary Bethany Archibald and Sarah Berry; and her great grandchildren, Alex McClendon, Adeline McClendon, Jack Archibald, Tessa Archibald and Cyrus Wright. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
