He was predeceased by: his parents, Vivian Barrow and Alice Barrow; and his wife Virginia Lynn Barrow. He is survived by: his aunt Nora; his uncle Jim Pruitt; his grandchildren, Stuart, Lance, Ellen, Valerie, Carolyn, Brooke, Ryan, Bobby, Paisley and Parker; his family John; his sisters, Alyce and Gwen; and his children, Alan (Ann), Jeff (Jennifer), Beth and Jill (Cliff). He is also survived by his family and friends.
