It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John E. Hobbs IV (Marietta, Georgia), born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on September 15, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy John leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his grandchildren, Seth (Chelsea), Isaac (Lexie), Graham (Madi) and Melanie; his great grandchildren, Juniper, Elouise and Laurel; Cherie (Rick), Michelle and Kimberley.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory (2480 Macland Rd, Marietta, GA 30064). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
