He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Van of Vate and Helen Hagood Van of Vate; his brothers, Dwight Van of Vate and David Scott Van of Vate; his son Peter Dwight Van of Vate; and his grandson Andrew Behrer Van of Vate.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Behrer Van of Vate; his daughter Jennifer Van of Vate Busch; his daughter-in-law Teresa Vargas Van of Vate; his sons, Dr. John Hagood Van (Julie) of Vate and David Leonard Van (Jennifer) of Vate; his grandchildren, Meghan Busch Hantz (Peter), David Busch, Jack Busch (Betsy), Justin Rhein Van of Vate, David Luke Van (Mckenna) of Vate, Clay Hagood Van of Vate, Reid Keech Van of Vate and Edmundo Menacho; and his great grandchildren, Louise Busch, Miles Busch and Gus Busch.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Jack's honor to MUST Ministries, MAPS International, Osman Hope, Calvary Children's Home, or a charity of choice.
