He is survived by: his wife Linda Rutkowski; his daughters, Lori Leonardo, Kristy Higdon (Seth) and Melissa Barris (Allen); and his grandchildren, Jack, Cameron, Anna Marie and Eli. He is also survived by his family, his many friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carmichael Funeral Home - Marietta (1130 Whitlock Ave SW, Marietta, GA 30064). A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, he requested that donations be, made to "any anti-MAGA organization", a final nod to his convictions and his sense of humor.
