He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jean. He is survived by: his children, Brent Vinton (Pam), Kimberly Russell (Tom) and Shaun Riley (Tim); and his grandchildren, April Forshee (Kit), Ryan Vinton (Marti), Eric Vinton (Stephanie), Jonathan Tillery (Brittany), Justin Tillery, Michelle Hollcroft (Jeff) and Stephanie Gregory (Jim). He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church (2240 Shallowford Rd, Marietta, GA 30066). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 2:45 PM to 3:15 PM at the Cheatham Hill Memorial Park (1861 Dallas Hwy, Marietta, GA 30064).
