With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Gray of Marietta, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 2, 2025 at the age of 78. As Linda departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Linda. Though Linda may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Blackmon and Lillian Blackmon; her husband Chester W. Gray Sr.; her children, Christie Gray and Chet Gray; and her brother Bobby Mann.
She is survived by: her daughter Lorie Bennett (Nakia); and her sister Lynette Kennedy (Ron). She is also survived by four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
