She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Orewiler and Mary Jane Orewiler; her son Robert Buchanan; her siblings, Elwood (Ruth), Olin (Margaret), Elton (Marjorie), Orrin (Mariam), Merle, Liz and Evelyn (Bob); her sister-in-law Joann; and her party poodles, Georgie and John Paul.
She is survived by: her son Jack Buchanan; her grandchildren, Jay, Niki Buchanan of Marietta, GA, Katie and Tony Tabor of Bowling Green, KY.; her brother Marvin; her sister-in-law Kathy; and her great grandchildren, Maddox, Wyatt, Scarlett and Hudson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home (180 Church St, Marietta, GA 30060). A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Mayes Ward Dobbins Historic Marietta Chapel (180 Church St, Marietta, GA 30060).
