We are sad to announce that on August 5, 2025, at the age of 93, Ralph Arthur Crain of Marietta, Georgia, born in Saint Louis, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Crain and Faye Elaine (Scarlett Crain Jacobs); his brother Bob Crain; his siblings-in-law, Brian Forbes, Joseph Ferraro, John Walaszek, MaryAnn Walaszek, Donna Crain, Sandra Ferraro and Joan Mantz; and his in-laws, Catherine and John Walaszek.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Theresa Walaszek of New Jersey; his children, Stephen R. Crain, Deborah Wilkes (Alan), Linda C. Rehkopf (Chris) and Julie Smith (Tim); his grandchildren, Leigh Anne Rehkopf (Ian Woolard), Haley Mills Moore (Thomas), Travis Crain (Marlee) and Dustin Crain (L'amour); his great grandchildren, Jackson, Rowan and Lucy Crain; his stepgreat-grandson Jules Woolard; his siblings, Harlan Crain and Rhonda Crain Forbes; Kim Byrd. He is also survived by nieces and nephews from coast to coast, his children.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Smyrna, an organization devoted to helping the poor and which the family has supported for decades.
