It is with sadness that the passing of Robert Lee Brackett (Marietta, Georgia) is shared. Robert, born on December 19, 1943, passed away on September 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Blanch Brackett and James N. Brackett of Marietta; and his siblings, Irene Merritt, Laura Smith, Revonda Foster, Christine Preast, Shirley Tolbert, Sue McKay, Harold, Lloyd and Ray Brackett.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Hall Brackett; and his children, Jeff, Wendy Brackett, Jennifer, Mike Lewis, Jonathan and Michelle Brackett. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the 11th Carmichael Funeral Home (1130 Whitlock Ave NW, Marietta, GA 30064).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
