He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Seckler; his daughters, Holli Roseanne Zhun (Matt) and Georgina Lynn Smith (Dominic); his grandchildren, Ansley Nicole Edie, Sean Michael Edie, Jack Robert Smith and Disney Belle Smith; his great grandchild Ingrid Evelyn White; his brother Paul; his sister-in-law June Seckler; his nephew Michael (Nicolette Seckler); his great-nephews, Benjamin and Henry; his niece Erica (Lyle Henze); and his great-nieces, Scarlett and Evelyn. He is also survived by friends, former tenants, neighbors.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Marietta Seventh-Day Adventist Church (1330 Cobb Pkwy N, Marietta, GA 30062).
