Robert leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Robert’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Robert will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eloise Snapp, and Oliver I. Snapp, Sr.; and his brother Oliver Snapp, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his daughter Ginger Snapp Martin of Macon, Georgia.; and his sister Frances Muse.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carmichael Funeral Home - Marietta (1130 Whitlock Ave SW, Marietta, GA 30064). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (1301 Riverside Dr, Macon, GA 31216).
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a contribution in his memory to Murphy-Harpst Home, Cedartown, Georgia or The Salvation Army of choice.
