She was predeceased by: her parents, James C. Forbis and Annie Mae Hall Forbis; her daughter Laura Joyce Heavner; her siblings, Joann Forbis Tippett (Bill) and Jimmy Forbis (Barbara); and her siblings-in-law, Sarah Joyce Dodson and Donnie Amos.
She is survived by: her husband Frank Joyce; her son David Joyce (Martha); her grandchildren, D. Hunter Joyce (Elizabeth), Elise Joyce, Dr. Emily Heavner (Steven) and Josh Heavner (Amanda); and her great grandchild Alyssa Laura Heavner. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agape Hospice Care of Georgia or Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
