She was predeceased by: her father Jack McClendon. She is survived by: her friend Alta; her mother Vera McClendon; her sister Staci; her brother-in-law Nate Sykes; her brother Steve; her sister-in-law Beth McClendon; her son Sean; her daughter-in-law Jes O'Kelley; her daughter Shannon; and her son-in-law Sean Vanden Heuvel.

The family requests donations in Sherri's honor to the Salvation Army of Cobb/Douglas counties in lieu of flowers.
