He was predeceased by : his son Terry Lee Williams. He is survived by : his wife Joan Williams; his daughters, Julie Lester (Bob) of Dallas, GA and Jennifer Kirk of Powder Springs, GA; his grandchildren, Robert Lester (Amy) of Dallas, GA, Russell Lester (Jessica) of Acworth, GA, Andrew Kirk of Powder Springs, GA and India Kirk of Powder Springs, GA; and his great grandchildren, Anna, Lauren, Kristen, Grace and Isaac Lester. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mayes Ward-Dobbins Macland Chapel (3940 Macland Rd, Powder Springs, GA 30127). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
