He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Royer and Josephine Royer; his sister Jane Mayer; and his daughter-in-law Lisa Cull Royer. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn M. Royer; his children, Jeffery Royer (Adina), Jolynn Fenton (James), Jennifer Conway (William) and Jeremy Royer (Kristy); his grandchildren, Thomas, James, Grant (Kayla), Johanna, Philip, Harris, Lucy, Jack, Aaron and Kate; and his siblings, Carolyn Bauer (Merlin) and Joseph Royer (Beverly).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at http://events.stjude.org.
