He was predeceased by: his mother Louise Murphy Yax; and his wife Patricia Yax. He is survived by: his father Ambrose Yax; his daughters, Carole Pavik (David Pavik) and Kristin Yax Hutton; his siblings, James Yax, Patricia Janes and Pamela Scinto; and his grandchildren, Megan Pavik, Audrey Pavik and Nathan Pavik. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
