In the sacred silence of farewell, Val is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Val's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Harmon and Rebecca Harmon; and his sister-in-law May. He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Pervorse (Justin) and Chelsea Ray (Nick); his grandsons, Henry and Winston; and his siblings, Vicki Calvert (Kim) and Steve Harmon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home (1498 5th Ave, Pleasant Grove, AL 35127).
