He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Carol Haney (Donny) of Sparta, GA, Nancy Katherine Goscha (Nick) of Dallas, GA, Dr. Anne Patricia Murray of Atlanta, GA and Janice Elizabeth Wright (Robbie) of Cartersville, GA; and his siblings, Robert Rakestraw of Rome, GA and Sarah Rakestraw Irwin of Gainesville, FL. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
