She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Fields and Eddie Lou Fields; her former husband Jeff Grant; her husband Jim Allen; her sisters, Mattie Bell Grant, Willie Mae Solomon and Mabel Ellison; and her children, Billy Grant and Mary Fields.
She is survived by: her children, Mattie Walker, Willie Mae Taylor, Louis Johnson and Bobby Hightower. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
