He was predeceased by : his father Ignatius Few "Nash" Murph II; and his stepfather Dr. David Scheibert. He is survived by : his children, Amanda and Kyle Barfield; his grandchildren, Konrad, Mary Wesley, Nora Katherine and Margaret Marie; his children, Nash and Sara Murph; his grandchildren, JD, Rex, Claire and Iggy; his sons, Wesley and Sheldon Murph; his grandchildren, Colby and Maeve; his brothers, Burke Murph (Pat) and Phillip Murph; his stepsister Mary Louise Gill; and also Elizabeth Frederick Murph Scheibert. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, family respectfully requests donations be made to the Marshallville United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, P O Box 67, Marshallville, GA 31057.
