She was predeceased by: her parents, J. W. Dooley and Betty Dooley; and her brother Andy Dooley. She is survived by: her husband Michael Elrod; her daughter Alyssa Elrod Utz (Seth); her siblings, Analyn Booth, Mary Stowe of Karen Pressley, J. W and Eddie Dooley; Michael Elrod, Roger Elrod, Alyssa Elrod Utz, Seth Utz, Adam Elrod and Bradley Elrod. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, Illinois 60601 in memory of Anita as she fought this disease for 15 years.
