He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dennison "Dank" Hambrick and Dorothy "Grace" Nimmons Hambrick; his former wife Rebecca "Becky" Chambers Hambrick; his son Jack Hambrick; and his siblings, Mildridge Fowler, Odeal Fowler and Troyce Hambrick.

He is survived by: his wife Anne Hambrick of Martin; his children, Diana Dove (David) of Canon, Rusty Hambrick (Lynn) of Martin, Claude Hambrick of Lavonia and Lee McCollum (Amy); his brother James Hambrick of Nicholson, Georgia; and his cousin Gail Turner of Forsyth County, Georgia.. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
