With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmy Jackson of Martin, Georgia, who passed away on May 31, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Jackson Sr. and Jessie Jordan Jackson of Toccoa. He is survived by: his wife Doris Jackson of Martin; his daughters, Lisa Brown Scoggins of Martin and Angie (John Neal); his grandchildren, Haylee (Matt Mayhue), Hope (Dakota Duncan), Jason (Nikki Neal) and Samantha (Cody Bennett); his sister Anne (Mike Haynie); and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Hallford of Eastanollee, Billy Hallford of Toccoa, Hoyt Scott of Toccoa and Doris Hallford of Tucker.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Ginn Funeral Home (90 Church St, Carnesville, GA 30521). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Tom's Creek Baptist Church (3604 GA-145, Martin, GA 30557).
