He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Lewis Payne and Alma Ruth Owensby Payne. He is survived by: his siblings, Teresa Caudell (David), William Payne, David Payne (Edwina) and Tammy Prater (Chris); and his cousin Ray Hanley. He is also survived by cousins, numerous nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
