He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Alford and Iris Alford; his wife Deborah Alford; and his brother Richard Keith Alford. He is survived by: his daughter Rebecca Mae Hoggard (Steven); his grandchildren, Braeden and Brynlee Hoggard; his sons, Richard Jason Alford (Amanda) and Bruce G. Alford, Jr.; his grandchildren, Tyler Alford (Amanda), McKenzie Colley (Ryan) and Bo Alford (Annabelle); and his sister Sue Thorn (Leonard). He is also survived by great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Georgia Cancer Center – Ring the Bell of Hope.
