He is survived by: his family Georgia; his wife Betty Jo Easler Butler; his son Larry Scott Butler; his daughter-in-law Rebecca Jo Clauss Butler of Martinez, GA; his grandsons, Chandler Ellis Butler of Augusta, GA and Garrett Michael Butler (Lyn); and his nephews, Thomas Albert Turner III (Sheri) of Frankewing, TN and Brandon Butler Maxwell (Bruce) of Meraux, LS..
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Fairhaven Funeral Home (3507 Wrightsboro Rd, Augusta, GA 30909).
