He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Peebles Guy and Alvin Jessie Guy; and his sister Ellen Meeks. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Rhodes (Scott) and Everette Guy (Cindy); his grandchildren, Burke Rhodes, Brandon Rhodes (Mallorie), Cody Guy and Summer Guy; his great grandchild Adilynn Rhodes; and his siblings, Jessie Cole, Janie Goolsby, Cicero Guy (Martha) and Susan Hobbs. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mill Creek Baptist Church (6252 Mill Creek Church Rd, Mitchell, GA 30820). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the same location.
