He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Bob Edwards, Sr. and Mary Ruth Youngblood Edwards; his wife Ruby Posey Edwards; his siblings, Charles Edwards of Lithia, FL, Jimmy Luther Edwards of Potterville, GA, Bonnie Lovering of Lakeland, FL and Marlene Cox of Ft. Meade, FL; and his half-brothers, Norman Youngblood of Columbus, GA. and Jim Bob Edwards, Jr. of Columbus, GA..
He is survived by: his stepchildren, James David Treadwell, Debra Jane Westbrook, Ronald Dean Treadwell and Timothy Ray Treadwell; and his sisters, Karen Newman of Columbus, GA and Diane (Johnny Boswell). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Way-Watson Funeral Home (1052 Dr Deryl Hart Rd, Buena Vista, GA 31803).
