It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Eugene Shockley of Maysville, Georgia, who passed away on March 19, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Eugene Benjamin and Bernice Savage Shockley; his daughter Billie Regina Shockley; and his granddaughter Alexis Brianna Shockley. He is survived by : his daughter Christie Watson; his son-in-law Chris Flanagan of Flowery Branch; his son Shaun Shockley; his daughter-in-law Brenda Mitchell of Maysville; his daughter Michelle; his son-in-law Jamie Vaughan of Lula; his siblings, Tina Withrow (Brian) of Lula, Sheila Lustig (Steve), Jeffrey Shockley of Lula and Frankie Shockley of Maysville; his sister-in-law Diane Shockley; and his caregivers, Kelley Lafaver (Doc) and Jessica Best. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
