He was predeceased by : his parents, John Cheek and Blanch Langford Cheek; his former life partner Elwanda Brown Cheek; his wife Dorothy Cheek; and his siblings, Paul Howard Cheek, Ben Cheek, Richard Cheek, Roy Cheek, J. W. Cheek, Josephine Scott and Julia Williams.
He is survived by : his children, Linda Jamerson (Jesse) of Alto, GA and Paul Howard Cheek of Toccoa; his grandsons, Alex Jamerson and Jesse Jamerson, III (Olivia) of Alto, GA; and his siblings, Ralph Cheek of Toccoa and Betty Jordan of Mobile, AL.
