He was predeceased by : his father Randal Cochran; his wife Connie Ruth Wade Cochran; his stepfather Arthur Thomas Holmes; and his stepbrother Charles Holmes. He is survived by : his mother Eva Mae Murphy Holmes of Commerce; his stepsiblings, Margaret Canup (Terry) of Winder, Joyce Marie Anderson (Grady) of Martin, Steve Holmes (Deana) of Maysville and Sharon Holmes of Maysville; his stepson Dwayne Brock (Bridget); and his stepgrandchildren, Avery Brock and Taylor Brock.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Home (1350 Winder Hwy, Jefferson, GA 30549).
