She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Murphy and Verona Chumbler Murphy; her husband Arthur Thomas Holmes; her sons, Charles "Tuna" Holmes and Dorsey "Pete" Cochran; and her daughters-in-law, Deana Holmes and Connie Cochran.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Holmes, Margaret Canup (Terry) and Joyce Anderson (Grady); and her daughter-in-law Sharon Holmes.
