He was predeceased by : his parents, George M. Doss and India Samples Doss; and his siblings, Mary Lou Napier, Ford and George Thomas Doss.

He is survived by : his wife Frances Hiland Doss of Maysville; his son Greg Doss of Maysville; and his grandchildren, Alex and Beth Doss.
