He is survived by : his children, Darlene Chandler McConnell (Lewis), Boyd Chandler (Marie), Jefferson and Greg Chandler (Lisa); his siblings, Pittman Chandler (Dessie), Canon, Rev. Ben Chandler (Patricia) of Ashville, AL, Linda O'Kelley (Vernon) and Retha Kemp; his grandchildren, Dr. Brittany Lord (Austin), Ryan McConnell, Tyler Thurmond (Jade), Dakota Thurmond and Kylee Carroll; and his great grandchildren, David Lord, Avery Thurmond and Nora Thurmond.
