He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Suits Payne; his daughters, Anissa Martin (Greg), Kristy McGill (Randall) and Jennifer Payne; his grandchildren, Kristen Musser (Jordan), Garret Martin (Mackenzie Banks), Lexi McGill and Sydney McGill; and his siblings, Thomas Payne (Katie), Doris O'Neal (Anthony) and Lorene Locke (Robert). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
