He is survived by: his children, Zina A. Mays (Odell), Christopher Marcus Mays (Linda), Andrea A. Evans (Lanier) and Natasha Ponder (Kerry); and his siblings, George Mays (Pat), Eddie Mays, Sandra Mays, Janice McClendon (John), Josie Wiggins and Fred Mays. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
