He is survived by: his wife Sandra Thompson Riddle; his children, Patricia Riddle Beeckman (Dirk), Neil Riddle (Haeyoung Riddle), Angeline "Niki" Johnson (Jerry Johnson), Rebecca Layfield (Stan Layfield) and Lisa Smith (Jeremy Smith); his grandchildren, Nick Dewaele, Glenn Dewaele, Cori Riddle Bentler (Christian Bentler), Elizabeth Riddle, Jack Riddle, Gavin Mitchell (Maria Mitchell), Alicia Santoyo, Amaya Santoyo, Bryson Smith (Makena Hughes) and Madison Smith (Dylan Fryer); his great grandchildren, Ricky Mitchell and Matthew Mitchell; and his granddaughter Leslie (Andrew).
