With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bruce Holden Payne of McDonough, Georgia, born in Toccoa, Georgia, who passed away on December 18, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Payne and Lily Mae Payne; his siblings, Roy, Ondis, Otis, Jewel and Ruth Payne; and his grandson John Andrew Woodson "Jack" Waldron.

He is survived by: his wife Juanita Payne; his daughters, Debbie (Steve Stephens) and Anita (John Waldron); his grandchildren, Kristin Hanie (Joey), Alison Waldron (Brian Mabry), Jonathan Stephens (Lauren) and Ashley Minton (Michael); and his great grandchildren, Evan, Kaelynn Hanie, Rhett and Emersyn Stephens. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, gran-nieces and gran-nephews.

When attending the visitation and funeral services, the family respectfully asks everyone to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Bethany Baptist Church Building Fund, St. Jude Children's Hospital, or the Masonic Children's Home.
