It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles A. Nelson Jr. of McDonough, Georgia, who passed away on April 14, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Nelson, Sr. and Blanche Kilgore Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Robin L. Nelson; his daughters, Lindsey McLain (Kevin) of McDonough and Katie Mondy (Ryan) of Locust Grove; his grandchildren, Hayley McLain, Addi McLain, Millie McLain, Elisha Mondy and Matthew Mondy; his pets, Max and Mollie; and his cousins, Debbie Woodie, Gail Baize, Marvin Pewitt, Becky Buffington, George Palmer, Mary Alice Beard, Gloria Jean Flowers, Kathy McDonald, Mike Kilgore and Judy Stanley.
