He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Vinson and Doris Winnette Bates; and his wife Brenda Bates. He is survived by: his daughter Stephanie Kronewitter; his grandchildren, Ariel Beer (Keaton) and Zachary Mclean; his sister Darlene Golden (William); his great grandchildren, Barron, Arabella and Adaleigh Beer; his nieces, Beth Laughlin, Jennifer Booth (Joe) and Caitlin Foster (Shaun); and his nephew Curtis Wilson (Melissa).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Haisten Funerals & Cremations (1745 S Zack Hinton Pkwy, McDonough, GA 30253). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Haisten Chapel (1745 S Zack Hinton Pkwy, McDonough, GA 30253).
