He is survived by: his sister Lynda Gayle Strawn; his sons, Dan Strawn Jr. (Charlotte) and Chris Strawn; his former wife Bess Owen Strawn; his grandsons, Colton Strawn (Sarah) and Clint Strawn; his great grandchildren, Owen Robert Strawn and Georgia Kathryn Strawn; and his close friend Janis Waits.
