He is survived by: his wife Gail Sanders Eidson; his sons, James Thomas Thaxton, Terry Joseph Thaxton (Shawn) and Donald Lee Eidson (Heather); his siblings, Betty Eidson Welshan (Danny), Daniel Eidson (Pam) and Fred Thomas Eidson Jr. (Sue); his brother-in-law Butch Sanders (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Morgan Curry (Scott), Rhianna Thaxton, Lendee Thaxton and Jansen Tolbert; and his great grandchildren, Ellis Curry, Bowen Curry, Brooks Bell and Behr Bell.
