In the sacred silence of farewell, James Russell is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edwin and Lillian Louise Russell Stanton. He is survived by: his sister Nelle Bowen (Bill); his nieces, Carol Fears (Wayne) and Leigh DeLozier (Scott); his great-nephew Jonathan DeLozier (Kenna); and his great-niece Callie DeLozier.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Haisten Funerals & Cremations (1745 S Zack Hinton Pkwy, McDonough, GA 30253). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
